digitalmekong is a Vietnam based creative network founded by french seasoned professionals.

Organized as a one-stop shopping structure, we aim to bring the best of us to the country by delivering innovative solutions to our clients and partners and helping them blossom their businesses especially through innovative ideas, concepts, solutions, media.

Team

Sandrine Llouquet

Sandrine is a French-Vietnamese visual artist based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam since 2005. She graduated from Nice Fine Art School, France. She has held numerous contemporary art exhibitions in Europe, Asia and North America and published several catalogs and magazines. She organizes cultural events and workshops. She is a talented VJ as well. In 2009, she founded Tum Tum Tree Asia, an illustration agency based in Hcmc.

Laurent Tam Nguyen

Laurent manages and animates Digital Mekong. He founded the network with Olivier in 2009. He brings an extensive experience in marketing, business development with more than15 years at business development and mark-com director positions in b2b companies (Arthur Andersen, Liquidity Services – Nasdaq LQDT, Groupe Sodec…). He is a graduate from Audencia (Nantes Graduate School of Management). He settled down in Vietnam in 2007.

Olivier Llouquet

Olivier is a multimedia designer and Co-founder of Digital Mekong. He holds a Master from the National Institute of Applied Sciences (Rouen, France) where he studied material sciences and structural design.
He has a 5-years experience as a graphic and web designer. He is currently a design lecturer at RMIT International University where he teaches Design for interactive Media.

Bertrand Peret

Bertrand is an artist, painter and graphic designer. He is a Fine Arts School Graduate (Bordeaux, France).  Bertrand has exposed his work through numerous individual exhibitions in France, Germany, Cuba, Congo, Uk, Usa, Vietnam, Singapore, Italy.
He is an energic event organizer. He also brings +10 years experience in graphic design and in printing. He has been living in Hcmc for the past 5 years.

Morgan Ommer

Morgan is an independent photographer. He moved to Hcmc Vietnam in 2010. He is a contributor to international magazines such as Monocle, Time, Vogue, Travel&Leisure. Morgan shoots interiors, industrial sites, food, portraits, and events. He has worked with luxury brands ( Louis Vuitton, Cartier, Celine, Chopard, Christies ) hotels and resorts ( Four Seasons, Shangri La, Penninsula, Song Be Golf resort) and financial institutions (UBS, HSBC, Morgan Stanley). He also published several books.

Thibault Tailland

Thibault is a French film director based in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam since 2006. He is the Founder of Wendigo Asia, a film company. Thibault has an extensive experience in directing film under numerous formats for Tv shows, ads, and corporate movies. Amongst his numerous realizations, in Vietnam he has given a new visual identity to Victoria Hotels and K1 Combat Factory. In january 2011, Thibault participated to the first 48 Hours Film Project competition in Vietnam. His movie and team won 6 awards.

Philippe Nguyen

Philippe was originally a database expert. He has developped risk and decisional systems for big companies such as Electricité de France and Bnp-Parisbas for more than 8-years. He's been in Vietnam since 2007 and has worked for american and french startups specialized in direct marketing or mobile technologies. He hold a master in systems and networks (EPSI, Montpelier)

He recently dived into the field of mobile applications development (specifically Iphone and Ipad)

small is beautiful is the first concept store for kids in Hcmc Vietnam and the official distributor of brands such as Baby Dior, Sonia Rykiel Enfant, DKNY, Petit Bateau, Antik Batik. Objective of the assignment was to re design a small is beautiful brochure in the spirit of the brand : luxury, simplicity, elegance, kids & mums friendly.

For Small is Beautiful's 1st anniversary, Digital Mekong suggested an afternoon by the kids and for the kids around "French Galette des Rois" featuring : a kids fashion show, a dance workshop, some drawing and craft workshops, a kids dancing party. Our team performed also djing, vjing and created the invitation flyer. small is beautiful is the first concept for kids in Hcmc Vietnam and the official distributor of brands such as Baby Dior, Sonia Rykiel Enfant, DKNY, Petit Bateau, Antik Batik.

A keen instinct for fashion led Hà to launch her first collection when she was 24 and soon she was sharing the runway at a showcase of legendary couturiers including Giorgio Armani, Valentino, Versace and Gianfranco Ferré. With recent studies at the acclaimed Fashion Design School, École de Mode International in Paris, Hà has further developed her unique vision for chic women and men’s ready-to-wear apparel.

We built Ha Truong new website with the same idea of mixing simplicity and class. Illustrations reflect the Ha Truong universe while the interface allows a rapid browsing of her world and collections.
